Father, full of compassion and mercy, You are the life of Your faithful and the glory of the righteous. Look with kindness upon Your servant David: You allowed him to enjoy a long life on earth; since he believed in Your eternal love and in the resurrection in Christ, grant him the grace to taste the tenderness and happiness that never end.
